Big Girls? or Little Girls?

Ok...today i'm gonna share about some spiritual stuff...yeah..

all these i got it from church devotional journal..those belonging to city harvest, refer to your journal(if you arent reading it)..those friends of mine..from other church..ahah...this is freebie for u..unless u wanna buy lar...haha..so here goes..btw, i only type some of the stuff that i highlight..

Feb 1: Disappointment is never based on what you find, but upon what you expect to find.
Feb 4: Meeting with God was more important than their ministry for God
Feb 6: It is abnormal to want to suffer, but as Jesus' followers, we should be willing to suffer if by doing so, we can help build God's kingdom.
Feb 8: With the privilege of leadership comes the great responsibility to walk uprightly before with the Lord.
Feb 14: Faith is not the absence of fear. In fact, faith wouldn't be faith without the presence of fear and doubt.
Feb 18: The first step in making a difference in a person's life is to get into his or her world.
Feb 21: All worhsip that is not kindled by the Holy Spirit but is conjured up by the flesh, is profane fire before the Lord.
Feb 25: Familiarity breeds contempt.
Feb 26: There is no greater fear than fear itself. Faith puts no limit on God, and God puts no limit on faith.
Feb 28: People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Mar 1: In the Lord's eyes, the measure of success is not the outcome of the effort, but the obedience of His servant.
Mar 2: A person of integrity is on the inside what he appears on the outside.
Mar 3: Faith is persistent praying-cying out day and night to God for answers. The attitude of faith understands that a vision takes time to fulfill. Faith is never a dry technique or formula. Faith is a heartfelt attitude that persists in trusting and praying no matter how tough a situation may be.

Ok..so thats it..bt well, there's another thing from the devotion of 2nd of March:

If you want you own will instead of His, God may say "Yes". He may even allow you to have "confirmations". But He will also send leanness into your soul.(Ps 106:14-15)

this reminds me of what pst Ulf mention before..that if you are not called to something, don't do it..for some ppl, for eg, they are not called to a specific thing but they insist on doing it...if you read that devotion, the title is "Insisting on your own will"...i believe that God's will for our life is much more greater than what we want for our life...and well, in fact, i've met many christians which are like that...

ok..moving on...now...move on to a topic..for WOMAN/GIRLS ONLY!!! haha...coz basically, its for woman or girls only..haha...if you are a guy...ahem...haha....

All woman/girls out there...are you a BIG girl, or a LITTLE girl? take a look at this, then you will know...:

A Little Girl:
  1. Tends to be self-absorbed
  2. Lacks discreton, insight and wisdom
  3. Makes others responsible for her happiness
  4. Avoids getting close to God
  5. Has a hard time being a wife
  6. Has a hard time being a mother
  7. Has a hard time being a good friend
  8. Takes cynical approach to life and the future
obviously, the typical Little-Girl woman doesn't exhibit all of these characteristics at once, but those that she does display are usually pretty typical of her.

A Big Girl:
  1. Cares more about others than herself
  2. Possesses remarkable discretion, insight, and wisdom
  3. Understands that she is responsible for her own happiness
  4. Invites God to be part of all that she does
  5. Embraces her role as a wife
  6. Understands what it means to be a good mother
  7. Delights in being a good friend
  8. Sees her life as valuable but fleeting
so girls, do u consider yourself a big girl or a little girl? hee~

got this from the book "Big Girls Don't Whine"...you can get it from Life Bookshop..i got it from there...$25.90...if not, i can lend it to u after i've finish reading..haha...God bless...
