I realised that many people mentioned that family wealth stops at the 3rd generations. Even interviews on rich entreprenaurs and i really mean rich people mentioned about this also...if you dont know what this means, this is it:
Person A(1st generation)--> They are usually the ones who set up companies etc. Their main aim is to expand their business, therefore they will cut down on expenses and spending and focus more on savings.
Person B(2nd generation)-->They grow up with parents from 1st generation who saves and does not spend lots of money on unnecessary stuff. Once the business is passed on to them, their main aim is to preserve the business. As they mature, they tend to start becoming a bit more open to spending money.
Person C(3rd generation)--> When it reaches this level, danger strikes. Why? 1st Generation-expand. 2nd Generation-preserve. So, what happens when it comes to the 3rd generation? well, people belonging to this group are those that is pampered. They get everything they needed and so on. BUT they spend LOTS of money on unnecessary things and are not a bit concern about business. All they care about is going for sprees or entertainment. Soon, when realisation hit them real hard that nothing comes by easy, it is then that regret is something that does not bring you back to your past to revert what has happen.
To me, i really think that this is true. Nowadays, it might not even start at the 3rd generation. it may be the 2nd generation or 4th generation. it depends. got to be careful.
If i were to become a multi-millionaire when i grow up, i will give my money to help those who needed it. what for keep everything to myself? life is so boring if you have everything. you do not share. and most importantly, you cannot bring it to heaven(that is if you make it.. haha).
