Holidays is a good way to slow yourself down and start to reflect your life for this year. Done lots of reflections. My goals. How many of it have i completed? Which i can truly shout out loud that 'it is done'?
The other day i asked God a question. And i've got a revelation. Well, the other day on sunday, Ethan wanted to play powerpuff girls game on my phone. And at that point in time, my phone was in nursery 2 charging while i'm in nursery 3. so well, we walked over. He sat on my lap and i showed him how to play. While he control the characters, i realised that we humans, are like them(but not literally). The game has an automatic shooting set for you. In a way, this reminds me of what we have in Christ. God will always stand by our side, fighting with us. Well, there are the bad guys. These bad guys is symbolic of our problems, obstacles and situations in our life. For a young boy like Ethan, he wouldn't know how to dodge, so most of the time, he end up getting his powerpuff girl killed. But this really makes me think, if we are being protected by the armor of God, why aren't we moving on? Why are we always stuck in the same place that we always stand, waiting for things to happen? Just like the automatic shooting, we do not have to fear, but to move forward. When it is time to dodge, we have to dodge it ourself. Remembering what pastor said about 5 loaves and 2 fishes. Wow. I would never have imagine that this really wake me up. Dodging is the 5 loaves. Why are we always afraid to step out? Just like in the game, in order for you to procceed to the next level, you have to overcome the current level first, before you move on. Well, in the game, there is this item that you can collect, which allows you to have 2 shots at a go. Well, this is like our life. The more we pray, the stronger we become. The more we trust in Him, the more we are assured of our life in Him. But if one does not step out, how can one proceed?
As i prayed for my granduncle, tears rolled down my eyes. I know everything is in the hands of God. There is a season for everything. Everyone has their problems, but it is how one handles and view the problem that makes one extraordinary. My God is an extraordinary God.
